Opening Prayer from the Spirit Guide Silver Birch
Oh Great White Spirit, Thou art the architect of all life no matter what form it may take, for Thine is the infinite law which is responsible for its existence. Thine is the plan which has conceived every phase of universal activity and Thy love broods over all.
Throughout the universe, in which there are myriads of manifestations of life, Thy law takes cognisance of them all. Thou hast provided all that is neccassary for their sustenance, for their maintenance and upkeep. Thou hast provided the means by which all is able to move in one concerted whole, each aspect forming part of a vast harmonious pattern which is the result of Thy execution.
We pay tribute to the unchanging, immutable, omnipotent law, for we know that there is no circumstance in life which is outside the scope of its governace. We desire to spread greater knowledge of its existence among all Thy children, so that understanding it, they may see more clearly the purpose of their being, their relationship to Thee and know what it is they have to do to fulfil their part in the divine scheme.
We desire also to reveal the existence of Thy spirit within them, that dynamic wellspring of divinity which is responsible for all their consciousnessm for their breathing and thinking, for their life and for all that is real about them. Once they know the depths which Thou hast placed within them and understood the tie, the divine tie, by which they are bound to Thee, they could release a flood of power which, surging through their beings, would enable a greater manifestation of Thee to take place.
Thus there would come into being more of the gift of the spirir and a brighter illumination would flood their lives and help to clear away the darkness that obscures so many from seeing the truth which is available to them.
We pray to be of service to all who need it, to bring them to those paths of knowledge and understanding where they can find the solution of all their problems, the strength that will guide them in their hours of weakness and perplexity, so that they, too, may know that Thou art always with them.
This is the prayer of Thy Indian Servant who seeks to serve.
