A Remembrance Day Poem.
THANK YOU.
We thank you for our Armed Forces, Lord,
who protect us from our foes.
We remember them today, especially,
those who ‘fell for us’.
They may be our family, our friends,
or even those unknown.
We pray for all ‘so sadly missed’
but believe them to be ‘Home’.
They have gone ahead of us,
they’ve left this earthly plain.
Their home now Lord, is with YOU,
to dwell with Thee Again.
